Born and raised on the Big Island, I have the values, vision, and vested interest in the future of our County. A passionate, professional, and proven public servant, my heart is dedicated to serving our people.

Working collaboratively, I've activated solutions to our homeless, housing and infrastructure issues. I'm committed to continuing to work hard for you; identifying innovative partnerships, strengthening support for small businesses, and revitalizing a resilient circular economy.

Passed Resolution authorizing Finance Director to enter into negotiations for the acquisition of Haloa Aina Sandalwood Forest using PONC preservation funds.
Participated in the building of 18 tiny homes at Makae’o for our unhoused community members.
Hosted community meetings for public, private and non-profit input
Helped construct 18 tiny homes for temporary housing during COVID
Participated in West Hawaii Community Health Center Homeless Outreach Program, walking alongside our first responders and medical professionals
Advocated for Community Policing HONOUR Program
